This 'Zelda: Ocarina Of Time' Remake Is So Gorgeous I Want To Cry

Good guy gamers giving us the remakes we all really want

We’ve spoken more than a few times about the amazing things people have made purely out of a real passion for gaming.

Epic Games recently made its state-of-the-art game engine, Unreal Engine 5, available to everybody and the results have already been breathtaking. While major studios are said to be developing games for big franchises, such as Tomb Raider and The Witcher, in the new engine, it’s the fan-made projects which have us the most excited. From a remake of Silent Hill to Resident Evil 4, projects we’ve hoped for but have never officially been announced have been developed by fans.

If you want to see just how amazing games made in the Unreal Engine 5 can look then check out the video below.

We have seen a cinematic take on Majora’s Mask’s Lost Woods built in the engine before, which while incredibly detailed was unfortunately not playable. However, DSOGaming has spotted a new version of The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time built in Unreal 5 which is both absolutely gorgeous and absolutely playable.

CryZENx hasn’t remade the whole game, yet, but what they have completed so far is very impressive. Everything looks brand-spanking new, including all new models, animations, and menus. They’ve even added in a chapter select so you can play your favourite parts more easily.

The one feature CryZENx has added, which we are yet to see any other Legend Of Zelda remake implement, is that Sora from the Kingdom Hearts series is a playable character. It’s still a work in progress, as they say in the video description, along with the fact that they’ve already been working on the project for over a decade. Congratulations good person of the internet, your efforts are appreciated.
