Shadow Man: Remastered, the shiniest version of the 1999 game that was released last year, is coming to console according to this uncovered listing on the Microsoft Store.
Shadow Man Remastered already arrived in April 2021 for PC players and flaunted 4K resolution, improved shadow mapping, per-pixel lighting, anti-aliasing, and even a host of content that was left on the cutting room floor twenty years ago. That included three new levels, new weapons, new enemies like the Seraph Queen, and all of the secrets from the Dreamcast and Nintendo 64 versions of Shadow Man as well as brand new ones. Tidy.
Perhaps the most striking thing about the game is the box art. It's difficult to deny its intense level of cool. To the uninitiated, Shadow Man is about the titular voodoo warrior who serves to protect the world of the living from the nefarious forces of the Deadside. A prophecy suggests that the apocalypse will be triggered by the emergence of Dark Souls that are housed inside the bodies of serial killers. It's the Shadow Man's mission to stop the Dark Souls from falling into the wrong hands and avert the end of the world.

The game is available to purchase on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S through the Xbox store and it is the Remastered version with the 4K resolution and 60 frames per second that we would expect. The PlayStation version of the game is also out now though Switch players will be waiting til the start of next week to get their mitts on it.
While you're here, it would be remiss not to mention the fact that System Shock is getting a live-action show. “I’ve always believed that a live-action adaptation of System Shock would be the perfect medium to retell the harrowing story of Citadel station and its rogue AI that subjects the crew to unimaginable horror," said Stephen Kick, CEO of Nightdive and executive producer of the show, in a statement. "We’re very excited to see the talented team at Binge bring System Shock to life in horrifyingly real and new ways.” The adaptation is slated to arrive some time this year.
