Halo 3 is one of the finest first-person shooters of all time, and easily one of the best Halo games. Maybe even the best, depending on who you ask. I mean, the guy currently sitting next to me as I type (who is a massive Halo fan) would say it's the best, and that's good enough for me.

The final chapter in the original Halo trilogy boasted a campaign with some truly unforgettable moments. It was also a genuinely challenging adventure- especially at the higher difficulty levels, where it became a brutal gauntlet that demanded your constant attention and sharpest reflexes.

Personally, the only time I ever beat Halo 3 on Legendary mode was with the help of a friend in co-op. I'm not sure I could have ever have done it alone. And if I could never have done it alone, I'd also feel safe in assuming that I could never have done it using anything other than a standard controller.

Clearly then, I'm not half the person YouTuber ATwerkingYoshi is. The dedicated gamer recently took to Reddit to reveal that he'd finally smashed through Halo 3's campaign on Legendary using a Guitar Hero controller, of all things. Check him out in action below.

It really is a sight to behold - and it only took him around a month of "grinding" to finally master Halo 3 in a way that developer Bungie clearly never intended for it to be mastered in. You probably won't be surprised to learn that ATwerkingYoshi has quite a few similar achievements under his belt, because that's just the kind of guy he is.

Perhaps even more impressive than the recent Halo 3 victory are the times he played through Dark Souls and Code Vein using a Guitar Hero controller and a dance mat respectively. A quick look through his YouTube channel (which is well worth a look) also shows me that he beat Dark Souls 3 with actual bananas, and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice using Donkey Kong bongos.

Guys, I can't be sure, but I think ATwerkingYoshi might be a wizard.

Do be sure to check out his various YouTube uploads, because it makes for some truly fascinating viewing. It also makes me realise that if we were to meet on Halo 3's online multiplayer, him using a Guitar Hero controller and me using a standard pad, he'd still absolutely kick my ass.
