If there is one thing we would love to see from The Witcher 3, it’s more of it.
Luckily, Time of the Sword and Axe does just that by restoring tons of cut content and items from both The Witcher 3 and previous Witcher titles.

“This is a massive mod that I have spent the last few months working on that's the culmination of all my content restoration efforts over the past year,” the creator shared.
“It includes over one hundred content additions, ninety of which are cut content restoration from either The Witcher 3 or previous games.”
For example, there are new alchemy items from all three entries as well as weapons, diagrams/recipes, the return of The Witcher drinking system “and tons more”.
Not only that but the creator has added a few secrets throughout the download which they hope won’t be spoiled by other players upon discovering them.
With The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt taking around 173 hours for 100% completion, we can only imagine how many more hours are now included thanks to this free mod.
As a result, fans were over the moon and shared their positive reviews.

There are thousands of free mods available for The Witcher 3 including ones that offer major next-gen graphical overhauls, some that include even bloodier combat and even the introduction of a brand-new system that completely changes the original game.
