A new report suggests that we could be getting new DLC for The Witcher 3 next year.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is ten years old now, and has become one of the best RPGs over the past decade due to its sheer depth and size.
Since release, CD Projekt Red has brought out a bunch of free and paid DLC for the game, adding onto its already rather lengthy shelf life.
It seems that CD Projekt Red may be ready to release a new expansion or DLC for The Witcher 3, as reported by Polish website Strefa Inwestorów.
Advert
The report states that according to industry analyst Mateusz Chrzanowski from Noble Securities, CD Projekt Red will release a new DLC for The Witcher 3 in May 2026.
“We expect to see another paid addition (DLC) to The Witcher 3 in May 2026. We assume the sale of 11 million copies of 30 USD next year. We estimate the production budget at 52 million PLN. The premiere should start the proper marketing campaign of The Witcher 4," the report stated.
It’s not clear what kind of scope the DLC will have, whether it’ll be a smaller expansion or something huge like Blood and Wine.
However, considering it’s allegedly a paid expansion, it might be quite substantial in terms of size.

The Witcher 4 Is Also Predicted For Q4 2027
With The Witcher 4 in active development, it’s likely that this new DLC might act as connective tissue for that game, bridging the plots between both titles and introducing us to Ciri’s new story as part of this new trilogy.
The analyst also predicts a 2027 release window for The Witcher 4, landing in the final quarter of the year.
This makes sense, considering CDPR has said in the past that it is targeting the PS5 for The Witcher 4, therefore it should land before the end of the generation.
Obviously, take all of this with a grain of salt. CD Projekt Red itself has not confirmed new DLC for The Witcher 3, but rumours have persisted since earlier this year.
“With the rumors I was expecting a couple free missions to tie the game to W4. If it's paid DLC, I assume it's something significantly meatier,” writes one fan on Reddit.
For now, we’ll have to wait for CD Projekt Red to confirm if new DLC is coming for The Witcher 3.
