Where Winds Meet has announced a massive new expansion due out for July, called Hidden Mountain.
Ever since its release last November, Where Winds Meet has been a popular choice for fans of the RPG genre.
Its wuxia mechanics, huge open world and wide array of quests are good reasons for its success, but the fact that it’s free-to-play also doesn’t hurt.

Now, it appears that the open-world RPG is set to get its third expansion in July, this time taking us to a brand new region, which Everstone describes as “a breathtaking, multi-layered landscape that further expands the open-world exploration”.

The introduction of the Mohist Sect brings new mysteries to the game, along with advanced martial arts mechanics and unique gameplay loops. It’ll also feature new major narrative twists, so long-time players who have become invested in the story of Where Winds Meet can experience the next chapter.
The expansion also introduces the new Hand Guard discipline, a fast-paced martial art where players can blend rapid movement with relentless counter-attacks on unsuspecting enemies.
It’s an incredibly devastating attack, and one that players will find useful when exploring the new expansion’s region.
