Star Wars fans have determined that Anakin’s fate was sealed from the very beginning, and it all makes sense when you line it out like this.
With the Star Wars mythos spanning almost 50 years of canon, the lore regarding Anakin Skywalker and his descent to the Dark Side of the Force has been one depicted across many different texts.
Some fans have said that all the events leading up to Anakin’s turn to the Dark Side had to happen in a specific way, in a specific order. But some also believe his fate was doomed from the start.
On the Star Wars Reddit page, one fan mentioned how if the Jedi council didn’t send Anakin away to Naboo with Padmé in Attack of the Clones, he may not have easily fallen to the Dark Side.

If you remember, Anakin acted as Padmé’s escort to protect her when she went back to Naboo. It’s here that the two end up falling in love, despite the Jedi code forbidding attachments.
With a little prodding from Palpatine, Anakin is slowly turned against the Jedi through his later marriage to Padmé and his straining relationship with Obi-Wan and the Jedi council. As seen in Revenge of the Sith, this comes full circle with Anakin taking on the name Darth Vader and becoming a Sith Lord.

However, other fans don’t believe that Anakin would have avoided this if he hadn’t met Padmé. They suggest that his fate was sealed regardless of what he did.
“In my opinion he could easily have fallen to the dark side even if he never met Padme given the way Palpatine was grooming him,” wrote a fan in the replies.
“100% Anakin (and even more so, Ben Solo) are the opposite of what a Jedi is supposed to be, in that they're heavily emotional, prone to attachment, selfishness, etc” wrote another fan. “Luke on the other hand, was a perfect Jedi in the original trilogy. His aunt and uncle are brutally murdered and not 10 seconds later he's ready to leave without a hint of revenge or anything.”
“His relationship with the future emperor should have been given prominence starting with episode one. Just one of the many failings of these movies,” writes another.

Considering Qui-Gon Jinn’s comments in The Phantom Menace about meeting Anakin not being a coincidence, but rather a “will of the Force”, it seems likely that the Jedi would have met Anakin in one way or another eventually, leading to him meeting Palps, and the rest of the events playing out as they did.
