Star Wars fans are thirsting over a Yoda back in his prime, once again proving they’re a fandom that’ll boink anything.

Out of all the mysteries left to be uncovered in the Star Wars galaxy, it’s Yoda and his species that have been staring us in the face for years, though we all tend to shrug our shoulders and just accept things for how we see them.

Star Wars Outlaws launches at the end of the month! Check out the trailer below

Yoda is immensely powerful, but we only see glimpses as to how powerful given how he’s 900 by the time of the original trilogy.

Some fans have tried to imagine what he’d have been like in his prime, and some fanart doing the rounds on Reddit has given us a glimpse of what that could have been like.

User shared Aquaman_Forever shared one of the search results in a post, and fans went wild for the younger, dashing whatever he is because George Lucas still hasn’t told us the species’ name.

“Damn that sexy 200 year old” and “That sexy bastard” are just a few of the comments made about his appearance.

In fact one commenter even drew comparisons to Hayden Christensen’s Anakin Skywalker, and honestly I can kind of see it.

Of course this isn’t a canon representation of what a younger version of Yoda could look like, but Grogu from The Mandalorian could one day give us what we seek.

While his exact age isn’t stated, it’s implied Grogu is over 50 years old, so if Disney ever ages him up a bit in a spin-off series or a future film we could see what a prime version of Yoda’s species could look like.

It looks like we’ll be watching his career with great interest then, assuming he continues to play a key role in the Star Wars canon.
