If you’ve never heard of Darth Nihilus, that’s for a very good reason.
The Sith Lord is yet to make a live-action appearance, but it’s most definitely something Star Wars fans would love to see happen.
As for where you can find Darth Nihilus, the character first surfaced in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, later appearing in EA’s mobile release Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes.
Outside of this, he’s mainly a character who’s merely been referenced by name.

Darth Nihilus reigned as a Sith Lord shortly after the Jedi Civil War drew to a close in 3956 BBY.
He was once an ordinary man, but fell to the Dark Side after having seen the horrors of war; he felt drawn to the Dark Side’s corruption having lost faith in peace and goodness.
Towards the end of the Mandalorian Wars, Jedi general Meetra Surik unleashed a Mass Shadow Generator during the Battle of Malachor V.
This superweapon essentially collapsed gravity, causing almost everyone on the planet to perish.

Nihilus was there, surviving the devastation wreaked by the Jedi; it was perhaps here that he made his decision to switch to the Dark Side.
It wasn’t simply a conscious decision though.
The superweapon left Nihilus with an unexplainable craving for force energy he could not explain.
He was taken in by Jedi Kreia, who became Lord Darth Traya, and was trained to use the Dark Side to feed that hunger.

Lord Darth Traya, Darth Nihilus, and Darth Sion went on to reign as the three concurrent Sith Lords.
The Knights of the Old Republic games aren’t technically canon, but that doesn’t mean that Nihilus can’t exist within the live-action timeline.
We’ve seen plenty of ‘Legends’ characters drafted into the main canon, with Ahsoka’s big bad Thrawn being a major example.
There’s no reason why Nihilus couldn’t follow in his footsteps, which is exactly what fans want to see.

“Wish we had a Darth Nihilus movie,” wrote Reddit user ValoNoctis.
“I desperately want this guy in live-action,” added VortexLMAO323.
“Me too, Nihilus is my favourite Sith,” remarked Quirky-Ad-9784.
