Squid Game has finally given eager fans a first glimpse of its third and final season.
What is more, its release date has also been announced.
Ever since its first season aired in 2021, the Netflix show has become a popular culture powerhouse, leaving many desperate to learn more about its deadly world.
Its intensity, the thrills, the drama, the deaths all create a show we don't want to end but also don't want it to overstay its welcome. After all, far too many incredible shows end up dying a slow death because its creators don't know when to stop.

This won't be an issue for Squid Game, though.
Netflix revealed the final season will premiere on 27 June, giving you plenty of time to watch the first and second series if you've yet to do so.
Even though our first look at the beginning of the end hasn't given much away, Netflix promises it'll be an experience we aren't fully prepared for.
"Super excited! You guys killed it in season two," commented @HomieSanto after seeing the latest images.
The news that the season will air this year will come as a huge relief, as some fans had feared they'd have to wait a year or more to find out what happened.
User @Artsby_J_only said, "It's finally happening this June! No need to wait until next year or beyond what a relief!"
As Stranger Things fans can attest, sometimes leaving it so long between seasons can dull our interest not strengthen it.

The countdown is officially on.
Although June seems painfully far away, Netflix is teasing that the wait will be worth it.
What is more, the finale will soon be here before we know it, much to our disappointment. As much as we want to know what's going to happen next, we don't want this series to come to end. It's a double edged sword.
