The MCU needs actors to play the X-Men once the Mutant Saga kicks off, and while it’s far too early to tell who’ll play who, it’s fun to put together some dream castings.

We’ve seen quite a few X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe already, with Deadpool & Wolverine giving us our best live-action Gambit so far, Beast appearing in the end-credits of The Marvels, and Professor X getting snapped by Scarlet Witch in the last Doctor Strange film.

Who knows, perhaps we’ll see a few more in Captain America: Brave New World

Fans have taking the concept of mutants in the MCU and ran with it, creating their own fancasts for who could play one of the most popular Marvel teams ever formed.

One Reddit thread by Time-Classroom-2442 has gone through the, probably difficult, process of picking an actor for each and every X-Men member, and some of the choices aren’t too bad either.

It’s a blend of actors who’ve already been in X-Men films but crushed it beyond measure, like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, but with some new faces like Zeo Kravtiz as Storm, and Timothee Chalamet as Nightcrawler.

Two options I particularly liked were Dylan O'Brien as Iceman, and Natalia Dyer as Rogue, both of which sound like pretty stellar choices if Marvel is taking notes.

Of course the actual MCU X-Men line-up likely won’t be this impressive, after all quite a few of the actors named appeared in the first live-action X-Men films, and while it's nice to see them return, age is definitely a factor.

Fans agreed, with one saying the Fox actors should be nothing "more than cameos."

"Hard no on bringing back any actors from the Fox movies" another added."

It's going to be a while before we get MCU X-Men anyway, since the Mutant Saga is only coming after Avengers: Secret Wars apparently.
