It has been revealed that the fourth Spider-Man movie following Tom Holland’s web-slinger will be titled Brand New Day and will mark a turning point in the series so far.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Holland would be reprising his role as Spider-Man in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which many fans will notice is quite a change from the previous movie titles.

With the first three instalments featuring the word ‘home’ in the title, this will be the first one without and already hints at how different things are about to be for Peter Parker following his memory-wipe in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Now living without his aunt, friends, and even his identity, it is clear that the fourth instalment in the series will have a much different tone than the high-school escapades we have seen up until now and the movie’s director teases that Brand New Day will be “a ride that we haven’t really seen before”.
At the recent Sony Pictures’ 2025 CinemaCon panel, Marvel Studios took the time to shine the spotlight on Spider-Man: Brand New Day with new director Destin Daniel Cretton.
Best known for directing Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Cretton revealed some new information for the upcoming Spidey movie, alongside a video message from Holland himself.
"I'm spending my time exploring the next stage of this amazing character with a team of the most incredible artists in the world…”, Cretton revealed.
“We're all, just daily, nerding out over the suit, how to swing, how to create an event, an emotional story, and a ride that we haven't really seen before."
To which Holland appeared virtually to say that Brand New Day is the "the next chapter of something truly special."
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to hit cinemas on 31 July, 2026 so although we still have quite a wait, it sounds as though the next instalment will definitely be worth it.
