Spider-Man 4 plot tease has divided MCU fans
This isn't about what Spidey wants, it's about what the fans want
As much as MCU fans are crying out for Spider-Man 4, they seem unhappy with the latest plot teaser about the film.
In truth, we still know very little about Spider-Man 4.
Leaks have given us threads to follow, such as the possible story for the upcoming film, but nothing official has been revealed.
The latest update is once again a teaser, and it’s one that has fans arguing it out on social media.

After the events of No Way Home, Peter is a little lost
There’s never a dull moment in the MCU community.
According to Daniel Richtman – yes, he’s back with more gossip – Peter Parker will have a “new love interest” in the next film.
In the last three Spider-Man films, MJ, played by Zendaya, has been the primary focus of Peter’s affections.
However, due to the events of No Way Home, the scene has been set for that relationship to be heavily disrupted.
Consequently, it would make sense for a new romantic interest to appear in the upcoming movie.
“No more Zendaya? You promise? No take backs right?” posted @FunnyOrCry on X in response to the news.
User @JC4LTM said, “Seriously they need a Gwen Stacy arc to give Peter that slight dark side.”
Despite there being many interested in seeing Zendaya’s character take a back seat, there are others who hope that MJ sticks around.
“I'd prefer Zendaya's character as the continued love interest,” remarked @MarkFoxx13.
“IT'S MJ RIGHT??? CUZ SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER HIM??? SO IN HER MIND IT'S NEW??? PLS,” reads another post.
We pray for some official announcement soon so that the discourse can start up in earnest but at least be grounded in confirmed facts.
Meanwhile, let’s turn our attention to news that’s sure to unite fans, at least momentarily: more Spidey has been confirmed for the MCU.
