The MCU is undergoing a massive shakeup in recent months, especially with the news that our Thunderbolts* gang is now set to be The New Avengers.
However, it seems as though another much-loved character may be making a return despite their apparent death a few years ago.
Check out the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness below!
Now that Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to begin, it makes sense that Marvel is shaking things up when it comes to which iconic characters will be the face of the franchise.

With the cast of Thunderbolts* now our New Avengers, it just shows that anything is possible, maybe even the resurrection of a beloved character.
That’s right, a recent image posted to social media by Captain America himself Anthony Mackie could hint at the return of Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch.
Mackie recently took to social media to show himself filming at a snowy location for Avengers: Doomsday and eagle eyed fans believe that this may hint at Wanda’s return.
That is because Scarlet Witch was last seen in a very similar location during the events of 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

In the movie, Wanda sacrificed herself to destroy the Darkhold and close the cracks in reality which resulted in her apparent death.
It's with that in mind that, as one fan over on Twitter pointed out, Mackie’s snowy location looks awfully familiar.
User Reggmon replied, “Bro, you’re actually cooking. [Sam] could be recruiting Wanda.”
With Scarlet Witch being as powerful as she is, it would not be too far-fetched to believe that she survived her sacrifice and if so, could possibly reappear throughout the events of Avengers: Doomsday.

The main cast of 2026’s Doomsday may have already been announced, but fans still expect other familiar faces to make a return and Elizabeth Olsen may just be one of them.
Fingers crossed.
