The Marvel Cinematic Universe is due another switch-up following whatever happens in Avengers: Secret Wars, but from the sound of things very little is going to change.

Fans have been speculating for months that when Avengers: Secret Wars ends it’ll essentially reboot the MCU, opening the door for new actors to step into various Marvel roles while keeping a few fan-favourites around.

The next MCU project is Captain America: New World Order, the latest trailer of which can be seen below

Whether that’s true or not is currently unknown, but insider details from DanielRPK are indicating it’s not, as plans for Phase 7 have been leaked online.

One leak involved the Young Avengers film, which is now said to be “titled Champions and will be a series” as planned actors can no longer be considered young, and “The Marvels underperforming at the box office” apparently didn’t spur much confidence at the studio.

It’s also been said Daredevil: Born Again is already planning a second season, which isn’t a surprise as even if the show isn’t as good as the Netflix series I think most fans are just happy to see it return, so it’ll perform well.

Furthermore it’s been said the Nova series isn’t filming “until fall 2025 or early 2026” and Hawkeye season 2 isn’t filming until “fall 2025 as well for a possible fall 2026 or 2027 release.”

Despite taking it with a pinch of salt fans aren’t impressed, with one singling out Champions in particular saying “they better get a good show runner. It’s basically the YA and they can be a real fire starter for a new running series for Marvel if they play it right.”

Another commenter said “I dont understand the Young problem. I'm 25 and old people call me young man … They are the Young Avengers, not the Teen Avengers.”

Just keep in mind that Marvel hasn’t confirmed any of this yet, and probably won’t until D25 at the earliest.
