MCU Phase 7 plans leak, and they sound absolutely wild

Marvel fans have every reason to be excited if these rumours of the MCU Phase 7 prove to be true.

It’s fair to say that the MCU has struggled to hit the same heights as the Infinity Saga but fans are hoping that the Marvel movie franchise will be able to redeem itself with the likes of The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Avengers: Secret Wars, part of the Phase 6 Multiverse Saga.

Now that Disney has acquired the X-Men and Fantastic Four movie license from 20th Century Fox, it blows the door wide open to all sorts of multiverse shenanigans. Whether that will be a benefit of upcoming Marvel productions, remains to be seen.

That being said, as reported by CBM.com (via MyTimeToShineH), it’s claimed that the Mutant Saga will be the main focus of the MCU Phase 7.

Right now, we’re in Phase 5 which has two remaining movies before we jump into Phase 6. Those two movies are Captain America: Brave New World (14 February 2025) and Thunderbolts* (2 May 2025).

Phase 6 will begin with The Fantastic Four: First Steps (25 July 2025), Avengers: Doomsday (1 May 2026), an untitled Spider-Man: No Way Home sequel and Avengers: Secret Wars (7 May 2027). Oh, and the Blade movie which may never see the light of day.

MyTimeToShineH claims that after the Avengers: Secret Wars, the Fantastic Four will make Earth-616 their home. For reference, our planet in the MCU is Earth-1218.

What’s more, the Midnight Sons movie is on the cards and will have Mephisto and Lilith as its two main villains. Interestingly, the demonic Mephisto was teased in the Disney Plus series, Agatha All Along and Lilith, is a demon sorceress from Earth-616.

As for the X-Men, Minister Sinister will reportedly be the main villain which could lead into an Avengers vs. X-Men movie. Whether Magneto plays a role in upcoming MCU productions, remains to be seen.

It’s worth keeping in mind that these are unconfirmed rumours, so we should take them with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. But if true, Phase 7 of the MCU could be absolutely wild.
