MCU fans roast leaked Avengers: Kang Dynasty plot: ‘we dodged a bullet’

Maybe it was for the best

Details from the now cancelled Avengers: Kang Dynasty have been mocked up into a script, making that pivot to Doctor Doom as the villain a little more understandable.

While Kang The Conqueror got the boot from the Marvel Cinematic Universe due to actor Jonathan Majors facing criminal charges, many believe it could have been the best thing to happen to this latest phase of the MCU.

Kang’s last appearance was in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, and it’s unclear how he’ll be written out in the future.

Robert Downey Jr returning as Doctor Doom is still rubbing some people the wrong way but for the most part, people are happy Avengers: The Kang Dynasty was never made, even more so thanks to a script shared online.

According to Reddit user Doomestos1, content creators took some of the “leaked” details regarding Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’s plot and created what they believed to be a semi-accurate script for how everything was going to go down.

You can find it online but you probably shouldn’t, as almost everyone who’s read it has said it’s one of the worst scripts they’ve ever read, regardless of whether it’s fake or not.

“This sounds terrible. They seriously wrote a scene of the Empire State Building, Golden Gate Bridge, Eiffel Tower, and Hollywood sign being destroyed? No way. That's way too cliche, even for Marvel,” read one fan’s critique

“Read all of it. Man I'm just so happy we ditched Kang for the saga villain. All his variants were just plain,” said another.

“Fun read but gotta be fake, it's basically one big battle and a little too on the nose with fan service that goes beyond cringe at times,” added another.

The pivot to Doctor Doom does feel incredibly forced, but from everything we’ve heard about Avengers: The Kang Dynasty so far, it feels like we dodged a bullet.
