With so many characters existing in the MCU at one time, it is easy to forget that not all of them have actually interacted.
However, fans have just learned that two iconic characters have never even met in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but will finally come together in a Phase Six movie.
Phase Five of the MCU has been an overall success, consisting of around six movies and eight television shows, but now it is time to move on with Phase Six expected to kick off on 25 July with the arrival of The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

The docket for Phase Six is already filling up with movies such as Avengers: Doomsday, Avengers: Secret Wars, and Spider-Man: Brand New Day set to hit cinemas over the next couple of years.
However, it is Spider-Man: Brand New Day that we are going to be talking about today as the fourth Spider-Man movie will finally see two iconic characters meet for the first time.
They are Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner.
Shockingly, the two have never interacted in a MCU project despite both starring in their fair share of them.

Holland has starred in six Marvel movies whereas Ruffalo has appeared in 11 so it is hard to believe that Spider-Man and the Hulk have never teamed up for some wild moves.
Nevertheless, this is all expected to change according to the MCU Film News account on Twitter.
"Peter Parker and Bruce Banner have never interacted in the MCU,” they shared. “Their first interaction will be in SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY.”
Of course, it was not long before the comments filled up with fans sharing their thoughts on this revelation.

“He hasn't interacted with Thor either. Let's hope it happens in Doomsday or Secret Wars,” one user commented.
Another user added, “Wait... holy crap I never realised that.”
Hopefully their meeting will be worth the long wait.
