MCU fans losing it over best post-credits scene in years

I already cannot wait to see how the upcoming Special Presentation follows up on this...

As the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest entry comes to a close, fans have been treated to one of the coldest end credit scenes in the franchise’s history.

Spoiler warning in advance! This article contains spoilers for the season finale of Daredevil: Born Again. This is your final warning to stop reading if you haven’t seen it yet!

Episode 9 of Daredevil: Born Again dropped on Tuesday night, and it went out with a bang… or a crack, I guess.

We were treated to a lot of great moments during the final episode. Daredevil and The Punisher teaming up to fight/murder a bunch of people, Karen finally getting some solid screen time, and, most importantly, that scene where Kingpin straight up twisted a dude’s head off.

However, it seems that one of the best moments for a lot of folks came at the very end, during which Frank Castle managed to escape from his holding cell by snapping a dude’s arm off.

Thunderbolts* is up next for the MCU.

“Don’t nobody do it like Frank, he told that man it was an honour to meet him and then got on his ass,” commented user @CaponeFrmM.

“Just gonna be 50 minutes of frank killing cops I can’t wait,” replied user @Unity556.

That last comment is almost definitely referring to The Punisher special presentation that Disney recently announced, just prior to Daredevil: Born Again airing.

Both season two of Daredevil: Born Again and The Punisher special presentation are set to drop in 2026, but assumedly the second season of Daredevil: Born Again is going to come out before the latter (considering it’s already started shooting).

However, that doesn’t mean that they can’t go back and show the events of Frank’s escape. Honestly, I’m more than down for an hour-long mini-movie that’s just Frank murdering hundreds of people.

Here’s hoping it gets a release date soon, because it’s only been 48 hours and I already miss seeing both Matt and Frank on my screen.
