MCU fans hyped for crossover we didn’t see coming

Didn't see this on the cards

With how many superheroes are currently running around the MCU it’s getting harder and harder to justify why they’re not all hanging out and helping each other.

So what’s the solution? Making them hang out and help each other obviously, what else would it be?

Fortunately we’re getting a bit of that in the upcoming MCU flick, The Thunderbolts, like The Suicide Squad but Marvel-y

That’s not the crossover we’re talking about today though, instead we’re talking about Shang-Chi teaming up with Wolverine.

Don’t get too excited as there’s no spin-off project in the works, that we know of, but with the way things are heading there’s a good chance they’ll interact at some point.

Simu Liu is also on board with the idea already, as a fan recently asked him at a convention if there was a Marvel hero he’d love to see Shang-Chi cross paths with in the MCU, to which he replied “Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.”

Now again there’s no secret project in the works for this, we don’t even know if Shang-Chi is getting a second film yet, but there’s a pretty good chance both heroes will appear in Avengers: Doomsday and/or Avengers: Secret Wars so perhaps we’ll see them crossover then?

Rumour has it Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as the definitive X-Man in the next Avengers films, and while for the time being these are only rumours it feels like a no-brainer for Marvel Studios to stick him into the action right?

As for Shang-Chi, it’s believed he had quite an important role in the now-scrapped Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, so hopefully some of that story is being salvaged for Avengers: Doomsday.

We’ll just have to wait and see, hopefully we see Shang-Chi return to our screens soon though, his first film was ace.
