Marvel fans are outraged by a new change to our current-day Avengers set-up, and it’s a bit ridiculous.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe has changed so much since it kicked off in the early 2000s, with some changes being good, bad, weird and a complete non-issue.
The latest addition to the MCU is Thunderbolts* which is out today, the trailer of which is below.
One of those changes came into effect the other day as it was revealed that the logo for The Avengers is changing to a different design.

I sense, given the timing, the reasoning behind this logo change is closely tied to whatever is going on in Thunderbolts* but I'm sure, like me, you're avoiding spoilers.
The previous design was kind of blocky almost, whereas the new one is a bit sleeker, and more refined; it looks pretty good.
Many fans disagree though, so if you wanted to get a feel for what the current consensus is on the modern-day MCU, this is your best look.
“NOOOOOO ... I don't like this rebrand,” read one of the comments responding to the change, while another asked, “No, why would they downgrade it like that?”

Others called it “ugly” and “unnecessary”, with some believing it might not actually be the Avengers logo, but the New Avengers logo which is said to be getting introduced one of these days.
Personally, I don’t think it looks that bad. It was about time for a rebrand anyway and in terms of in-universe lore, it makes sense why it would change.
The last logo was very much a Stark Industries product, with the team moving into Stark Tower and later another Stark Industries facility all paid for by Tony’s company.
That’s all gone now, so it’d make sense why the Avengers would need to take on a new identity, especially with the team slowly being reformed by Sam Wilson’s Captain America.

At the end of the day, it’s a logo, and you probably won’t even see it all that much in the films anyway.
