The MCU Officially Killing Off Multiple Avengers, Brace Yourselves

The MCU is no stranger to killing off some of our favourite superheroes and that’s mainly because they can just bring them back in a later project.

However, it seems as though our Avengers are set to take another L in one upcoming project as it has been reported that many of them will have finally met their match.

Marvel Studios has revealed that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will lose once again as part of a 2025 Disney+ series.

Ahead of their first meeting with Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in Avengers: Doomsday next year, it seems as though they will have one other obstacle to tackle.

That is during the events of Disney+ Marvel Zombies, an R-rated show set to bring the team back together for the first time since 2019’s Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel Zombies is an upcoming animated television show and a spin-off of What If…?

It takes place in an alternate reality where the world has succumbed to a zombie plague and that includes some of our favourite heroes, and villains, such as Scarlet Witch, Thanos, Iron Man, and Captain America.

Now a brand-new tagline for Marvel Zombies reveals that the show comes “after the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague” and the remainder must do what it takes to save their world.

"After the Avengers are overtaken by a zombie plague, a desperate group of survivors discover the key to bringing an end to the super-powered undead, racing across a dystopian landscape and risking life and limb to save their world."

Of course, this brand-new show is set in an alternate reality so we don’t have to worry about any of our favourite Avengers getting the chop for good but it will still be heartbreaking to see some of them succumb to the spreading plague.

Marvel Zombies will go live on Disney+ on 24 September so you have just a few weeks to go until you can dive into this animated television show with an undead twist.
