You may have thought that the dust had settled on Deadpool & Wolverine, following its impressive box office run.

After all, our attention now turns to Agatha All Along which is set to premiere next week.

Before that happens though, it turns out that Deadpool & Wolverine has a few final surprises up its sleeve.

The film’s director, Shawn Levy, has in recent days confirmed that one of the film’s most subtle Easter eggs has only just been spotted by fans.

As if that revelation wasn’t enough, we’re also now just discovering that the film recast three major Marvel characters seemingly without any of us realising.

There are actually six recasts in total, as pointed out by The Direct, but let’s start by diving into the main three.

The first is Psylocke who you may remember as being portrayed by Olivia Munn in X-Men: Apocalypse.

In Deadpool & Wolverine, however, she’s played by Ayesha Hussain.

Then there’s Juggernaut, originally portrayed by Vinnie Jones in X-Men: Last Stand.

He’s now been replaced by bodybuilder Aaron Reed.

Remember X-Men: First Class’ Azazel? Well, Deadpool & Wolverine said goodbye to Jason Flemyng, instead welcoming in Eduardo Gago.

While perhaps featured slightly less prominently, Callisto, Lady Deathstrike, and Quill were also subject to recasts.

Callisto was brought to life by Dania Ramirez in X-Men: The Last Stand, before being replaced by Chloe Kibble in Deadpool & Wolverine.

Jade Lye has replaced X-Men: United’s Kelly Hu as Lady Deathstrike, while Nilly Cetin is now Quill after taking over from X-Men: The Last Stand’s Ken Leung - the only gender-swapped recast.

While Deadpool & Wolverine featured many cameo appearances, it’s perhaps to be expected that not everyone could be nabbed to return.

With that in mind, these recasts aren’t all that surprising. The question is: How many of them did you notice?
