Marvel fans are already pondering who’s best to play Charles Xavier in the MCU, and they’re very spoilt for choice.
The X-Men’s arrival in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is inevitable, though in many ways it’s already happened as we’ve seen more and more mutants popping up in cameo roles.
Of course a big moment for mutants in the MCU was Deadpool & Wolverine…

That being said, there's a lot of ground to cover before we get a full team together on the big-screen again, as Avengers: Secret Wars is the only upcoming film where it’d make sense to get the full gang together.
Fans have already begun theorising which actors could play roles like Cyclops and Kitty Pryde, though now they’ve turned their attention to the true leader of the X-Men, Professor X.
In a Reddit thread asking fans wh they think would be best suited to play Charles Xavier on the big-screen, a lot of names were tossed into the hat.
Of course James McAvoy and Patrick Stewart were common suggestions, as they both played their roles of young and old Xavier brilliantly in their respective films.
However some of the different names suggested could make for some banger castings if Marvel is thinking the same thing.
“I would go with Bryan Craston. He would be fantastic and definitely has the acting skills” said one MCU fan.
Another good shout was the suggestion of “Ralph Fiennes or Daniel Craig”, two British actors that’d do a fine job with Charle’s English accent.
One more banger prediction was Giancarlo Esposito, who’s already expressed interest in the role but will make his MCU debut in Captain America: Brave New World.
That being said the MCU is a multiverse now so there’s no reason why he can’t do both roles later down the line.
White it’s far too early to get casts together for the MCU’s X-Men, it’s still fun to predict who’ll be on Disney’s list when the Mutant Saga kicks off.
