Marvel fans knew it was coming, but now they’ve got their first proper look at MCU’s “replacement” Avengers.

A lot of the fandom have already seen these new Avengers; however, it wasn’t in any official capacity.

Still, this leak led to the upcoming line-up being roasted by fans unimpressed by what they’d seen.

Now that the official first look has dropped, are fans feeling any more optimistic about these characters?

“It looks like everyone here is on his last nerve,” remarked Reddit user b34r3y.

They’re not wrong – the characters have a certain annoyed-angsty-teenager edge about them.

In this instance, though, it’s incredibly fitting, for these characters are from the upcoming Thunderbolts* film.

For those of you who aren’t Marvel fanatics, these are a band of anti-heroes.

The now reformed villains fight on the side of justice, but they do it their way, and not always for the right reasons.

“I’m so excited that Ghost gets another appearance. Aside from Walton Goggins, she was my favourite part of Ant-Man and The Wasp,” commented mshelbz.

How we feeling about Venom: The Last Dance trailer?

The teaser that was shared on Twitter – and has since been deleted – didn't give much away; it was mainly a shot of an elevator opening and our anti-heroes standing there.

“Bucky's face is screaming ‘how did I end up here...’ I've never seen a man who'd rather be anywhere else more than Bucky,” commented a fan, “He's probably wishing he was in some senate committee than that elevator.”

In all honesty, Bucky hasn’t exactly looked happy for quite some time now in MCU.

With no trailer yet, we’ll have to wait a little longer before we see how these rogues work together.

Currently, the film is slated for a May 2025 release, though that could change.

Regardless, we hope we get a trailer soon because the fandom is hungry to see more images of Bucky looking like he’s been forced on a family trip out.
