Marvel quietly cast the MCU's new Thor already, fans agree

Marvel's getting a new Thor apparently

Marvel fans think they’ve spotted the most-obvious replacement for Thor in the MCU, for whenever Chris Hemsworth decides to hang up the cape and hammer.

Actors can’t stick with their roles forever, as much as we’d like them to, and with the vibe of films and TV series being reboot after reboot after reboot will inevitably get a whole new cast of Marvel superheroes one day.

Perhaps after Venom: The Last Dance releases in cinemas we’ll find get that crossover with Spider-Man we’ve all been waiting for

Chris Hemsworth’s is still an integral part of the current Marvel films, with the character even appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine but not in the way you’d expect, so it’s clear one day we’ll need a new hero to take Mjolnir into battle, and fans think they’ve found her already.

In a Reddit thread by Responsible_Quiet686, it was said “Love (Gorr's resurrected daughter) could be the MCU's version of Tarene a.k.a. Thor Girl.”

If you didn’t catch Thor: Love & Thunder the end of the film sees our hero adopt the daughter of Gorr The Godslayer, raising her as his own and presumably teaching her how to use her powers.

A cute fact about the scene is that Love was played by Chris Hemsworth’s own daughter India.

With Love now an important figure in Thor’s life as well as a powerful new hero present in the MCU, it’s only natural that the character will one day fill her adopted father’s shoes as the God of Thunder, as we even see her wield Stormbreaker before the credits roll.

“They're clearly setting up Young Avengers. We have Kate Bishop, Yelena Belova, Ironheart, Skaar, Wiccan (upcoming), Isaiah Bradley's grandson, Shuri/T'Challa II and Love” said one fan.

Whether that’s true or not remains to be seen, but with so many new faces joining the MCU it makes sense to get them all in a team-up movie.
