Marvel fans heartbroken as MCU quietly confirms death of another Avenger

Say it isn't true... Please

Spoilers for Agatha All Along are ahead. You’ve been warned.

It’s one thing to speculate that a character is dead, it’s another matter entirely to see it confirmed.

Marvel fans have been holding out hope that a dearly loved MCU character isn’t dead. Unfortunately, that hope has been stomped on.

What else will Agatha lie about in Agatha All Along?

Avengers are dropping like flies in the cinematic universe.

You’ve probably already guessed which Marvel character we’re referring to, but what’s one more twist of the knife?

We’re talking about Wanda.

After the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, fans, while hopeful Wanda was still alive, suspected she had died.

Marvel is known for throwing curveballs, so it wasn’t out of the realms of possibility that she would return.

Many still believe she’ll return in Agatha All Along despite this quiet confirmation coming from that very series.

The first episode tried to solidify that in fans’ minds when they saw a redheaded body.

We also witnessed a moment in which it states, in black and white, that Wanda Maximoff is dead.

It all points to our beloved Scarlet Witch no longer existing.

Yet fans are still clinging on, hoping against hope that Wanda is somehow still faking.

“SHE IS NOT DEAD, I REFUSE,” declared Twitter user @wn_tatum.

Another fan posted, “SHE'S NOT DEAD. It's just more of Agatha's lies.”

If this is all a red herring and Wanda is off chilling somewhere, we’ll be delighted but also miffed.

We’ve mourned the loss of this character – Disney and Marvel have been doubling down on her not returning. Our hearts might just explode if it’s all been one big lie.

There are still several episodes of Agatha All Along left, which means that surprise cameo we so desperately want could happen.

But if what we’ve already seen is true, Wanda is long gone.
