The Marvel multiverse is opening up, meaning we can get more and more cameos and guest appearances in future MCU films.

So far Marvel fans have been treated to several surprise appearances from characters we’d never thought we’d see in the cinematic universe, like Beast from X-Men and Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.

Captain America: Brave New World will supposedly set up further mutant storylines, including the emergence of adamantium, an integral part of Wolverine’s origin story

Marvel recently shared a short and sweet video that showed off all the awesome cameos from the Deadpool & Wolverine film, as there’s a segment early into the film where the merc-with-a-mouth goes multiverse shopping for a new Logan to replace the one that died in the Fox films.

It was the perfect opportunity to use some comic accurate surprises, and Marvel took hold of said opportunity with both hands.

Standout appearances in the video include Logan in his yellow and brown suit from Wolverine Vs Hulk, Old Man Logan, and even Deadpool variations like Ladypool.

If you asked a Marvel fan years ago if they thought Disney would ever get Hugh Jackman dressed up in the Patch version of Wolverine, or have a gang of villains zoom around in the Fantasticar, I’d imagine they’d laugh you out of the room.

That’s only the start too, as Kevin Feige has said Deadpool & Wolverine is the true origin of the mutants in the MCU, so we can expect many more references and surprise appearances in the coming years.

There’s even been a tease for an Avengers Vs X-Men storyline, which sounds like a lot of fun.

The next blockbuster film in the MCU’s release schedule is Captain America: Brave New World, followed by The Thunderbolts, so it’s likely those two movies will be linked in some way.
