Marvel fans praise MCU's 'biggest reveal ever'

Marvel fans praise MCU's 'biggest reveal ever'

Say what?!

Marvel isn’t one to shy away from big reveals. That said, this might be one of the biggest the fandom has seen in quite some time.

Over the last couple of months, Marvel has wowed fans with grand reveals, as well as shocked them with the quiet killing off of beloved characters.

Its most recent decision, while fascinating to the fandom, has been seen as controversial.

Relive the pain of Avengers: Endgame

Consequently, finding your equilibrium as a fan can prove taxing.

In this instance, though, Marvel fans are singing the praises of this MCU reveal rather than condemning it.

On Discussing Films’ Twitter account, a tweet that’s since been deleted made reference to a minor character’s progression.

Cast your minds back to Winter Soldier.

During one scene, we’re introduced to Aaron, an individual working at the Apple store. Well, it turns out that Aaron has since experienced a career change, and is now working at Xbox.

Furthermore, Aaron is none other than NoobMaster69.

We doubt you need reminding who that is, but just in case you’ve had to use your brain to store so-called “important” information, NoobMaster69 is the gamer terrorising Thor in Avengers: Endgame.

It’s a pretty sweet reveal, fans agree.

While some are shocked to discover it’s Aaron who's winding up Thor instead of a child, others are gutted that it isn’t Deadpool behind the NoobMaster username.

Although it would have been an even more impressive secret, let’s not forget that Deadpool isn’t exactly subtle.

What is more, he cusses often.

“I get the feeling that Deadpool’s screen name would have a lot more expletives in it,” reasoned Reddit user Broncos9798.

Even if your hopes of a Deadpool cameo have been dashed now, you can’t deny that this attention to detail in the MCU is quite remarkable.

“The fact that the MCU has this much continuity intrigues me so much. I mean... a character from a little comedic scene in Winter Soldier coming back!” said hushpolocaps69.

None of us can deny it’s a neat little detail, regardless of whether it’s canon or not.
