Not all Marvel characters get a satisfying end to their story, unfortunately.

Even though this isn’t surprising given how detailed and complex each character’s story often is, it doesn’t make seeing beloved characters suffer any easier.

Thankfully, this MCU character has had one of the best endings we’ve seen from Marvel in the last 16 years.

How will it end in Venom: The Last Dance?

The discussion about this evolution started on Reddit, and despite all the horrific things we can find there, the comments were quite wholesome at times.

User Due-Ad6949 shared a series of images from The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise depicting Nebula’s journey over the course of the three films (and the MCU as a whole).

“Best evolution in the MCU!” they said, “Who could've guessed she'd become an Avenger five years later? And then she got her happy ending.”

Given how Nebula’s character started out, we can’t argue with what they’re saying here – she goes on a journey that ultimately ends positively.

“Best character development of the Guardians,” commented IllustriousAd2392 in agreement.

Nebula has wormed her way into the fandom's heart, and with that comes the hope that her character returns in other MCU projects.

However, as the OP pointed out, her return isn’t necessary.

“Yeah, I'm perfectly fine if she is never seen again. She got to shine in Endgame, being in the main cast, and got her happy ending. Her story is over,” they argued.

“After GOTG, I never thought it would end with Gamora gone and Nebula being a member and it making total sense,” posted another fan, “They did her so well, right up there with Tony for me.”

There are so many new irons in the fire at Marvel, so we hope Nebula isn’t the last hero to get her happy ending.
