Marvel officially announces Doctor Strange: Mystery of The Mystics

A Stranger in a Strange Land

Marvel has announced a new chapter in Doctor Strange’s journey, as the superhero returns in a mystical new adventure.

The last time we saw Doctor Strange, he was still dealing with the fallout from helping Spider-Man in No Way Home.

It was also the last time we saw Scarlet Witch alive, much to the fandom’s dismay.

But what of another Marvel hero? Watch the trailer for Venom: The Last Dance

Despite such a bleak turn of events during Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Doctor Strange is back to save the world once more.

But he isn’t alone – Scarlet Witch will be there too.

It’s quite the surprise reveal from Marvel, though not one fans are against.

However, before you get hyped about a new MCU project, Doctor Strange: Mystery of The Mystics is a stage show.

As detailed in a post by Twitter account Cosmic Marvel, this exhilarating new show will debut this year on 23 November, and will run until 29 March 2025 at Disneyland Paris.

The show will see Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch team up to deal with a “strange occult power”.

If anyone can put a stop to these strange goings on, it’s this duo.

Fans are pleased with this latest development, however, they're also bitter that this narrative is playing out on stage rather than on the big screen.

“This should have been the plot for Multiverse of Madness,” posted one fan.

Other comments to the same effect quickly followed.

Amidst the salty barbs from fans, there’s also joy at seeing Scarlet Witch alive and well. User @Ola95Liloki simply commented, “Wanda is back.”

Of course, she could still show up in Disney’s Agatha All Along; however, such a development has yet to materialise.

The fact that this "awesome news" neither confirms nor denies Wanda’s demise – it's technically a non-canonical experience – matters little.

For Marvel fans, it’s a chance to see two iconic characters reunited in a way we’d originally hoped would happen in the Multiverse of Madness.
