Let’s get this out of the way before we begin: we already think Wolverine is badass. Just because our title talks about a new Wolverine doesn’t mean the old one isn’t impressive.
That said, we also have to admit that Marvel’s fan-favourite mutant has never looked this cool.
We’re momentarily leaving the MCU behind to travel to the shores of Marvel Comics.
Often the two intertwine, but not this time.

In an upcoming series, fans will meet Ultimate Wolverine.
Although we don’t have the full details just yet, we do know what this version of the hero looks like and it’s “pretty badass”.
User large_blake asked, “New Ultimate universe ongoing thoughts? Ultimate Wolverine looks pretty badass, I’m excited to see what they do with him.”
Fans quickly gathered to discuss which Ultimate superhero is their favourite; however, we’re concerned with only one individual.
Unsurprisingly, love for the new Wolverine isn’t hard to find.
“I’m very excited for the new Ultimate Wolverine, the premise is very cool!” shared Wheattoast2019 in response.
Fellow fan Th3_Brat_Princ3 commented, “I’m excited for this comic just based on your description of it.
“That’s what I liked about Ultimate Wolverine in the old Ultimate Universe. When heroes heard his name there was a sense of fear and panic. I would like to see Wolverine as a Winter Soldier-like figure.”
Others, while intrigued, are more sombre in their reaction, “Great design. Let's see how it will go on.”
Being cautiously optimistic isn’t a bad move though, especially given how easily hope can turn into despair once a project doesn’t meet expectations.
Our new Wolverine looks incredible. However, only time will tell if their narrative matches their imposing revamped design.
For now, we love what we see and can’t wait to see more.
