Doctor Strange has been getting a lot of love over the past few years, and now he’s the face of a newly announced Marvel game.

The Sorcerer Supreme has been an integral part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in both the fight against Thanos and probably the upcoming fight against Doctor Doom.

Before Avengers: Doomsday though, there are a few more Marvel films to get through, like Captain America: Brave New World.

While we wait though, Marvel dropped the surprise announcement that a new game is coming out, and will focus on the supernatural heroes who often ally themselves with Doctor Strange.

If this sounds familiar, it’s because Marvel did something similar with the Marvel Midnight Suns game.

This game is called Marvel Mystic Mayhem though, and will be a team-based action RPG for mobile devices, not consoles unfortunately.

The roster will include characters like Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, Scarlet Witch, Man-Thing, and Spider-Man for some reason, and there’ll probably be more added along the way.

Gameplay looks like it’ll be turn-based, where choosing the right team at the right time makes the upcoming battle much easier.

As a mobile game, you can probably expect some microtransactions too, not ideal but it’s just the world we live in nowadays.

Aside from that though, not much is known about the game apart from what was shown in the trailer, and no release date has been given as of yet.

If you’re interested, Marvel is giving players the chance to register for updates on the game and going hands-on with it as soon as possible, so if mobile games and Marvel games are your cup of tea then this is one to check out.

For console and PC gamers, you still have Marvel Rivals to look forward to, the Overwatch-style first-person shooter that launches this December.
