The new Deadpool & Wolverine is a treat for the eyes, so it’s unsurprising you didn’t spot this cameo.

Since its release, the new Marvel film has generally pleased fans.

Deadpool & Wolverine secured a strong Rotten Tomatoes score early on, despite the reception from critics being a mixed bag.

While some aspects of the film fail to stick the landing, there’s more than enough banter, action, and fourth wall breaking to keep you entertained.

However, with so much to see and hear, it’s easy to miss important details.

Have you seen Deadpool & Wolverine? You really need to sort that out

Typically, we inform you of secrets and cameos you’ve missed simply because you weren’t looking hard enough.

This hidden cameo, however, is so subtle that we’d be surprised if you had noticed it.

Spoilers lie ahead, so don’t proceed if you still haven’t seen the movie.

As revealed on Reddit, it turns out that Spider-Man was involved with this Deadpool adventure, after all.

Albeit in a very loose and indirect way.

It turns out that one of the masked characters in the latest cinematic instalment was none other than Tom Holland’s brother.

No, it’s not the Spidey and Deadpool meet cute we want, but it’s a nice start.

“Might not mean much, but it’s nice to know the Holland family is still very much in the Marvel fold,” commented whitepangolin, “We need that Deadpool and Spider-Man meet up.”

Upon seeing the photo, fans started talking about how perfect a match Spider-Man and Deadpool on the big screen is.

“I think Reynolds and Holland would have some great banter if they were to team up,” said joe2352.

Sadly, the likelihood of a whole film with the two heroes in seems unlikely given the R-rating Deadpool films normally have.

However, while it’s “unlikely”, that isn’t to say the two won’t meet in one of the new Avengers films recently teased.

Other OG stars have teased about their return, so why can’t Spidey and Deadpool have that moment together?

Anything is possible.

For now, though, we have to make do with a secret cameo from Tom Holland’s brother. It’s not much, but we’ll gladly take it.
