Daredevil: Born Again has officially started reshoots, and fans are over the moon to see Matt Murdock, Karen Page, and Foggy Nelson reunited after all these years.
Daredevil is one of my favourite superheroes of all time. I love the comics, TV appearances, the cheesy Ben Affleck film, and I’ve even pitched a game in the style of Marvel’s Spider-Man. It’s for this reason why I, like many fans, was devastated to hear the upcoming Disney Plus show Daredevil: Born Again was in trouble.

First, filming was delayed due to the writer’s strike, then the scripts were scrapped altogether as Marvel wanted it to be more akin to the Netflix show. In the aftermath, it was reported that the original version wasn’t going to feature Matt Murdock’s two best friends - Karen Page and Foggy Nelson - which is a crime if you ask me. Luckily, fans can now rest easy as a first look at the reshot show has appeared online and it’s making us very emotional.
Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll and Elden Henson were all spotted filming a scene outside Nelson, Murdock and Page, the law firm the three teased in the finale of Daredevil Season 3.
Also spotted during filming was a graffiti artist believed to be one of the show’s main villains, Muse, spray painting a mural of Kingpin, another villain set to make an appearance. It’s also believed Bullseye from Daredevil Season 3 will also return for a few episodes.
Overjoyed fans shared their excitement on Twitter, given that Daredevil: Born Again will basically be Daredevil Season 4, but with a bit of the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe mixed into its plot. One fan said, “We are so back. Epic day for Daredevil fans," while another added, “The holy trinity.”
Finally, one fan suggested the behind-the-scenes shots were leaked to purposefully hype fans up about the trio’s return, saying, “I feel like they did this on purpose to stoke excitement for the course correction … It shows the trio back together and happy but without giving away a single plot point. Genius if true.”
Either way, I’m just happy Daredevil: Born Again looks so good so early into filming. Hopefully, Disney nails it so we can get several more seasons.
