Fallout Viewers Have One Major Hope for Season Two's Macaulay Culkin

Fans hope for a big role.

Fallout Season 2 is just on the horizon, and fans have high hopes riding on the next eight episodes of the show.

The second season appears to be bringing in certain elements of Fallout: New Vegas. Although the story is set about 20 years after the game, the question of which ending has been canonised is still left unanswered.

For example, we caught glimpses of each faction from New Vegas, like the NCR, Mr. House, and Caesar’s Legion in the trailer, despite the fact that at least one or two of them should be wiped out following the game’s ending.

It looks like Macaulay Culkin’s character may also be somewhat linked to this, as well. His casting was confirmed last year, but we also saw him briefly in the trailer released in November.

Culkin’s role has not been confirmed yet, but popular belief is that he’ll be playing a member of Caesar’s Legion. Or rather, whatever remains of that group.

Macaulay Culkin Appears in Fallout Season 2

Fans are hoping that Culkin will stick around for a major role, rather than relegating it to a small cameo or minor appearance.

“I’m glad Macaulay Culkin’s still acting,” reads one post on the Fallout Reddit page. “I just hope it’s not just a quick cameo and that he gets more screen time.”

“There’s just no way an actor/person like him that is so eccentric would be underutilized, that would be vault-tec level evil karma,” reads a reply underneath the post.

“Hope he is not a joke character and actually taken seriously,” reads another post. “I mean, he obviously kills a man in the trailer but I also really hope he and the Legion aren't just a ‘one episode and done’ thing.”

“I bet he’s a single episode character. I would love to be wrong but I can see one of the main characters being captured by the Legion and Culkin is the regional Legate or something of that nature,” a third comment reads.

Given the buzz surrounding his casting, it sounds like Culkin’s role won’t simply be diminished to a simple cameo.

However, it’s also not known if he’ll be sticking around for the full season or just be featured in one or two episodes.

Considering the sheer scale of the second season, plus all the different characters and storylines the show will be juggling between, I wouldn’t count on him being featured in every episode. But he should have a rather prominent presence in the show nonetheless.
