Batman fans are debating on the worst thing The Joker has done, and my God is it a long, long list of heinous acts.

The Clown Prince Of Crime is without a doubt Batman’s greatest foe, and the criminal who’s given him the most trouble over the years as he simply won’t go away.

Many are wondering when he’ll make a bigger appearance in The Batman trilogy.

Over the years, Joker has committed some of the vilest atrocities comic readers have ever seen like beating Jason Todd to death (kind of), crippling Batgirl and murdering Superman’s wife and child, setting him on the path of evil.

But what’s the worst thing he’s done in his long history as Batman’s arch-nemesis? Fans are still unsure.

In a Reddit thread by Critical_Potential44, some of the above examples were passed around, also including killing Jim Gordon’s wife in a room full of babies as well as attacking Alfred.

Other fans had their own ideas though, like one who cited The Batman (2004) cartoon where he’s found guilty of “kidnapping a cop and torturing him and transforming him into Clayface”.

Another atrocity was when he literally ate the country of China when he was accidentally given the powers of a God, and “a story where he captured random people, had them brainwashed into believing they were Batman and then sent them to Killer Croc's lair so he will eat them”.

One of the top comments stated he once started “killing families in their homes on Christmas morning”.

Honestly the list goes on, but personally I’ve always found him torturing and transforming Tim Drake into a Joker Jr (Batman Beyond: Return Of The Joker) especially harrowing.

Given his popularity, it’s clear The Joker isn’t going anywhere anytime soon, so there’ll likely be loads of fresh crimes added to the list as the years go by.
