A popular and underrated Batman adaptation is set to return which will no doubt please fans of the Dark Knight.
Batman is one of the most popular characters of all time and not just in the world of DC comics. Batman is known worldwide whether it's in comics, video games, TV and film or in the instance of today’s story, an audio drama bringing old-school radio vibes.

As reported by Comicbook.com (via Variety), The Dark Knight returns for a second season in Spotify’s audio drama series, Batman Unburied: Fallen City. Season one consisted of 10 episodes and now eight new episodes are on the way for its second outing.
“Political turmoil threatens to tear Gotham City apart after a shocking murder rocks the city to its core. With the help of The Oracle, Batman is forced into Gotham's underbelly...uncovering a horrific conspiracy that will change things forever,” reads the synopsis of season one.
In Batman Unburied: Fallen City, the Dark Knight is played by the underrated Caped Crusader, Colman Domingo, and he will be reprising his role in season two. However, rather than dropping all episodes in one go as seen in season one, the second season episodes will be delivered weekly.
“This story, one that explores Bruce losing a friend and an emotional new discovery about his parents’ death, was exciting and challenging,” said Domingo in a statement. “I can’t wait for listeners to experience the twists and turns awaiting them.”
“As Gotham City is plagued by seismic tremors, Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent launch a social program that rattles the city’s elites yet earns praise from the city’s newest masked figure: the Oracle of Gotham,” the second season teases.
Batman Unburied: Fallen City season two premieres on Spotify on 26 November 2024.
