A huge part of The Witcher franchise is returning in September, to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of The Witcher 3.

When players think of The Witcher 3, it’s likely a few things come to mind; the epic fights, exploring the gorgeous open world, and of course, the card game Gwent.

If we put aside the combat and questing, if we’re all honest, we spent far too much time languishing in pubs playing Gwent.

It became a bit of a phenomenon, spawning its own game, and many fans were eager to get their hands on a real set of Gwent cards.

That dream eventually came true, and it’s being followed up by a new, very gorgeous, physical release for the big anniversary.

Revealed over on Twitter, for a limited time, fans will be able to get their hands on a new set of Gwent cards that come in a lovely wooden box, all fully engraved with wonderful details.

The team behind the project described the contents of the set, saying the set would include, “an engraved 4-piece wooden board, 436 tarot-sized faction cards, 50 Legendary Ballad Heroes foil cards, and an upgraded accessory set with 1 metal coin, 4 acrylic gems, and 4 wooden tokens.”

Fans of The Witcher are ready to put their money down, hand over their credit cards, and order the game.

Gwent Deluxe is coming from No Loading Games, and will be priced at £189, to be shipped early in 2026.

It’s a lot to pay, but that’s not stopping the most die-hard of fans, and it will make quite a centrepiece on games night with your friends.

What better way to play Gwent than with the most lavish version of the game?

It doesn’t appear to be a limited run, however, it’s highly likely to sell out fast, so be quick.
