The Witcher 3 has a stunning hidden quest you almost certainly missed

Fans loved this quest from The Witcher 3

Lots of big RPGs feature so many quests that finding them all on one playthrough would be a miracle. Developers just love to hide away quest markers and little secrets for players to dig around and explore every nook and cranny.

This can be said for any large-scale game in the past few years, whether it's Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, GTAV, or in this case, The Witcher 3. To be fair, sometimes players can go through a game multiple times and still miss a quest or item that others know about. Thank god we live in the internet age where we can find out these things and go back to find everything.

The Witcher 3 is the game that keeps on giving with plenty of quests to keep you playing

There’s one particular quest in The Witcher 3 that lots of fans apparently missed. It’s called Cave of Dreams and, according to the Wiki, starts in a very remote part of the map. “You can start this quest by finding Blueboy Lugos, near a cave far southeast of Holmstein's Port and Kaer Muire, but the location is quite remote and nothing else leads you there.” It’s no surprise that it’s easily missed.

Over on Reddit, one player mentioned the quest and was met with echoes of several players saying things like “I missed this the first two times I played! Only found it by accident the third time because I did some things in a different order. Such a good quest!” There is another user who said, “Is it bad that I’ve missed this quest after multiple playthroughs?” No, it’s not bad at all, The Witcher 3 is huge. In fact, it’s easily summed up by another Redditor in that thread who exclaimed, “I'm in my fourth playthrough and I s**t you not, I have found something new every time.” It’s hardly a surprise that so many fans are eager for the next part in the Witcher franchise when the game can last for years and still feel fresh.
