This article contains spoilers for DC League of Super-Pets.
Who doesn’t love Dwayne Johnson? The man is a wholesome icon, just all around good vibes. He’s also a man with ambition. At the moment, The Rock is adding his own stamp to DC’s cinematic output.
The actor will star as the titular Black Adam when the film drops in October of this year but you can currently see (or hear) him voicing Krypto in the animated film DC League of Super-Pets. The film has been well received, yet there is one major problem. DJ’s spoiled the movie on Instagram just days after release.

Speaking of Black Adam, check out the epic trailer for DC’s upcoming flick below.
DC League of Super-Pets released on 29 July and clearly The Rock expected everyone to see the film during its opening weekend as by 1 August, he’d spoilered the after-credits scene online. This is where the spoilers start, you’ve been warned.
The Rock took to Instagram to announce that in addition to voicing Krypto, he also voices Black Adam and his dog Anubis in a post-credits scene. Johnson wrote, “Thank you for making Super Pets the #1 movie … but did you stay till the very end credits. You guys already know how I feel about Superman vs Black Adam. The Indestructible Force meets the Immovable Object. With the DC Super Pets Universe, we had an opportunity to build out this awesome animated universe in a big, fun, cool way.”
He continued, “Allow me to introduce the baddest, meanest, antihero canine walkin’ God’s green earth … Anubis. Complete with his new favorite toy - squeezy Bruce Batman. At @sevenbucksprod we have major plans to build out the Black Adam DC Universe and now the DC Super Pets Universe with our partners @wbpictures & @dccomics - and Super Pets & Black Adam is just the beginning.”

There you have it. Dwayne Johnson has already debuted his take on Black Adam. More interestingly perhaps, what does he mean by Black Adam DC Universe? We’re no stranger to comic-inspired cinematic universes but based around a single character? That’s a new one. Especially a character whose debut film is yet to be released.
