The Elder Scrolls 6 fans going feral over record-breaking trailer

The Elder Scrolls VI fans are seeing every game under the sun get a trailer except their own, and it’s driving them mad.

We all know Bethesda confirmed the existence of The Elder Scrolls VI too early but the fact there still hasn’t been anything other than that teaser trailer seven years ago is astonishing, not even a screenshot or two to go with it.

Now Elder Scrolls fans are furious to see GTA VI get a second trailer, while they’re still waiting for their first one.

It adds insult to injury when you remember GTA VI has been delayed to next year and yet despite that, Rockstar Games released a new trailer to get fans hyped.

“Now that we’ve seen the GTA VI update trailer… TODD we NEED the ES6 update trailer,” exclaimed a new Reddit thread, but the optimism unfortunately didn’t continue in the comments.

“Tiny but non-zero chance that we get a re-announcement trailer before the end of the year, but probably next year,” said one commenter.

Others hoped Summer Game Fest could have what they’ve been searching for, saying, “I am praying for a trailer during the next Xbox Direct over the Summer. If ES6 is supposed to come out within the next three years, we have to get a trailer either this summer or next summer.”

Another speculated that it could be “possible we get a very small teaser before the end of the year, especially with all the Oblivion hype”.

It’s mean to say but I imagine the Elder Scrolls community as that Spongebob meme where Squidward’s staring out the window watching Spongebob and Patrick playing outside.

The Elder Scrolls VI will get a new trailer eventually though, either sometime this year or in 2026. It's got to.
