But what would you buy with the money should you win? Well, unfortunately, the winter sale will have ended by the time you get the prize, so you have the choice of saving it for a rainy day or just grabbing a cheaply priced brilliant game like Vampire Survivors; a game that requires little brain power and plays like a dopamine slot machine that fires on all cylinders.

Or you could go for a big hit from 2023, Dave the Diver, which would require you to put some extra cash towards it but would be a brilliant way to spend the money as it’s a sublime game that mixes humour with roguelike elements and some restaurant management. Perhaps you got a Steam Deck for Christmas and want to christen it with a banger game? Look no further than Slay the Spire, a deckbuilding card game that takes you through a gauntlet of enemies to stomp on with your cards, and it plays brilliantly on the Deck.

Plenty to chew on, for sure. If you do manage to come out as a winner, make sure you put the prize to good use and don’t just buy another game that will sit in your backlog like I would.
