The release of Starfield is nearly upon us and fans are itching to play the next big RPG from Bethesda.

Recently Bethesda treated us to a developer deepdive courtesy of the ‘Starfield Direct’ event which was so informative, that you may have had to watch it at least twice to ensure you picked up on every last detail. However, it’s one particular rumoured feature that has made fans fall in love with the sci-fi RPG more than ever.

Checkout the Starfield story trailer below!

“Starfield is set in an area that extends outward from the Solar System for approximately 50 light-years called The Settled Systems. Around the year 2310, the two largest factions in the game, the United Colonies and Freestar Collective, engaged in a conflict called the Colony War,” reads the synopsis of the game.

So what is this rumoured feature, I hear you ask? Well, fans are hoping that the Starfield photo mode will allow more than just sharing your screenshots with Xbox friends or social media.

In a tweet shared by Xbox News, it appears that the photos that you take in-game can be displayed inside your ship. How lovely is that? We certainly hope there is some truth behind this particular rumour because it will most certainly add a personal touch to the game.

In related Starfield news, as we all know, Bethesda games are known for being buggy, for better or worse. Despite being a couple of months until its big release, Starfield fans are already defending the bugs of the intergalactic sci-fi RPG. What’s more, players have also mapped out the size of the game and it’s stupidly big.

Starfield will be released on 6 September 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Unless you pre-order the Premium or Constellation Edition, in which case it will be 1 September. Starfield will also launch day one on Xbox Game Pass.
