Don't get too excited though, because there is a catch

You can currently nab two Star Wars games for the low, low cost of absolutely free, but there are one or two catches.

As revealed on the Epic Games website, both Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II - The Sith Lords are currently free to claim on mobile devices.

However, I should warn you that there are a couple of loopholes you might have to jump through to claim them.

Firstly, yes, this is a mobile only deal. You can’t book up the Epic Games Store on PC and claim them that way, and you’ll only be able to play them on your mobile device of choice once you do.

Secondly, if you’re an iPhone or iPad user, you can’t actually claim these outside of the EU. If you try to claim either game and you happen to live in the USA, you’ll get an error telling you that the Epic Games Store isn’t actually available in your region.

Finally, and this is a big one, these games are apparently online-only.

Yup, you read that right - even though these are single player titles, attempting to play them without an internet connection isn’t actually possible. Players online are reporting that if you try to do so, you’ll get an error message stating that your licenses need to be verified.

In spite of all this however, fans of the titles over on the r/AndroidGaming subreddit were thrilled with the news.

“Damn, that's amazing! I love the first game, but never bought the sequel, thanks for sharing it!” commented user RunisXD.

“Awesome! Some of my favorite gaming experiences!” replied user MajorGiggles.

Hey, free is free. Even if there are a bunch of weird restrictions, it’s hard to turn your nose up at something that costs £0.
