Spider-Man Fan Sets World Record Seeing 'No Way Home' In Cinema 292 Times

Congratulations, I guess?

I loved Spider-Man: No Way Home so much that I went to see it in the cinema four times. I thought that was a little excessive, especially in a pandemic. But it turns out I've got nothing on the superfans out there.

One Florida man now holds the world record for attending the most screenings of the same fame. Ramiro Alanis has seen Spider-Man: No Way Home a staggering 292 times. The Guinness Book Of World Records puts this into further perspective, explaining this adds up to 30 days. That's a literal month of his life watching Spider-Man. I don't know whether to be impressed or afraid.

Take a look at our conversation with Tom Holland below!

You won't be surprised to learn that Ramiro also previously held the record for watching Avengers: Endgame 191 times. That's 23 days, fact fans. This record was previously broken by one Arnaud Klein, who watched Kaamelott: First Installment 204 times.

Not to be outdone, Ramiro headed back into the cinema to and used Spider-Man: No Way Home to take back the crown. I'd have been tempted to go for the record with Venom: Let There Be Carnage instead, which clocks in at a much swifter 90 minutes. Then again, once was more than enough for that particular flick.

It's unclear if anyone will attempt to come for Ramiro's record now. I'm not certain anyone would relish the idea of even trying to beat 30 days spent watching the same movie, especially when it seems clear Ramiro will only come back swinging when the next Spider-Man film is out and spend something like 40-straight days in the cinema. The man simply cannot be beat.
