The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is such a huge game in terms of scale, that it would make sense that even to this day, players are still finding new secrets in the land of Tamriel.

Skyrim was originally released in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, instantly becoming one of the most popular video games of all time. From that moment forth, Bethesda knew that it had a big-time cash cow on its hands, and it’s been milking it ever since to a large degree of success.

Check out the Skyrim Anniversary Edition trailer below!

Since its initial launch, no game in The Elder Scrolls series has been re-released as often as Skyrim, gracing us with its presence on every console generation for over a decade. Simply put, fans cannot get enough of Skyrim and you can count us amongst that passionate crowd.

Even now, on forums such as Reddit, Skyrim fans are sharing stories of their epic adventures and plenty of secrets that many of us may have missed, such as the secret that is the topic of today’s discussion. “Am I the only one just finding out about smouldering dragons on your map?” asked Redditor Big_Ounce666.

“I never realised a smouldering dragon would appear on your map. Most of y’all already probably knew but as a long-time Skyrim enjoyer, I love finding out new stuff about this game,” they continued.

To be honest, despite all the hours that I’ve played Skyrim, I must admit, I’ve never noticed this either and thankfully, we’re not alone. “I’ve played this game more times than I can count and I can honestly say this is the first I’ve seen this,” replied jokamp.

“I also played this game a million times, never noticed this” a surprised kwager13, exclaimed. “It’s the little details about Skyrim that I love,” said CriticalStreet6096.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
