Skyrim players can now enjoy yet another expansion to the Thieves Guild, which should make thief-aligned players happy.

We’ve previously covered mods by Skyrim creator Flowrifto, who has taken it upon themselves to overhaul the Thieves Guild questline with new routes, opportunities, and interactions to expand the game.

Flowrifto has previously released ‘plus’ versions of Speaking with Silence and A Chance Arrangement, and now the next entry to their campaign has now been released.

This time, the mod tackles the quest Taking Care of Business, the second quest for the Thieves Guild which has you collecting debts from various businesses around Riften.

The quest typically has you going to three different NPCs in Riften to collect these debts. When none of them are willing to part with their gold so easily, you may opt to brawl them for the money, or negotiate a more peaceful solution.

Skyrim's Latest Mod Improves A Quest From The Thieves Guild

Taking Care of Business Plus Plus overhauls the quest with new interactions and events to further expand the questline, allowing for new roleplaying opportunities that align closely with your character’s playstyle.

The mod features new dialogue options, which are spliced with vanilla lines. Haelga, Bersi and Keerava (the three NPCs who you must shakedown) are made non-essential from the start of the game, so there’s nothing stopping you from killing them and collecting the prize.

Flowrifto

If two of these victims are dead before you get the assignment, the quest is replaced with a simple bedlam job.

Meanwhile, you can also convince Brynjolf to pay the debt yourself to skip the quest without even going outside. On the other hand, you can also tell each victim you’ll pay their debt yourself, and you may even receive a small token of their appreciation.

While this mod doesn’t have as many dramatic differences compared to Flowrifto’s previous mods, it’s great to see that the modder is keen on overhauling the Thieves Guild questline with new interactions and opportunities.

Altogether, it should mean that more bloodthirsty players can act out their violent tendencies to complete the quest, while those with a stronger moral compass can finish it without anyone’s feelings getting hurt.

You can download Taking Care of Business Plus Plus now from the Nexus Mods page for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
