This upcoming role-playing game looks like an incredible blend of The Sims, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Valheim, and I never knew how much I wanted a game exactly like that before I started writing that sentence.
Vikings Dynasty is an upcoming simulation action-adventure RPG from developer Digital Daredevils S.A. and publisher Toplitz Productions, and, based on its description, it's promising a lot.
However, don’t let the big promises fool you into thinking that this game is going to be vaporware or dead or arrival, because the publishers behind Vikings Dynasty have a pretty good track record.

That’s because, in a very loose sense, Vikings Dynasty is actually a new entry in an ongoing series, as Toplitz Productions is also the publisher behind Medieval Dynasty and Sengoku Dynasty, two very similar games with pretty positive review scores on Steam.
So, what’s the difference between the previous titles and Vikings Dynasty? Well, the clue is kind of in the title, because you’re a Viking this time around.
“Survive against all odds in an ever-changing environment while you explore the wide open world and fight for your life, relying only on your abilities and natural resources”, reads Vikings Dynasty’s description on Steam.
“Build your first shelter and eventually expand your home into a thriving settlement. Experience real viking social life and structures, gain trust and ultimately, power.”

Sounds neat, but… when does it actually come out?
Sometime this year, according to the loose “2025” release date on Steam. Considering the publishers’ track record though, I’d say we’ll only hear an exact release date very close to when it’s going to drop.
On the plus side, the game has been announced for Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, so you’ll be able to live out the Viking fantasy of your dreams regardless of which platform you’re on.
