Announced earlier this year, Resident Evil fans received the news that a brand-new entry was on the way.
Now that it is finally available, dataminers have discovered a little something extra for the brand-new Resident Evil entry.
Resident Evil: Survival Unit is a brand-new instalment in the beloved horror series, offering mobile gamers the chance to enjoy a free strategy experience based in the well-known world.
Developed by Aniplex Inc and Joycity Corporation in “close collaboration” with Capcom in order to “ensure authenticity and quality”, Resident Evil: Survival Unit is now available to download on iOS and Android.

“In the world of “Resident Evil Survival Unit,” strategy holds the key to survival,” the official synopsis reads.
“As an unknown infection spreads, the city crumbles in the blink of an eye. You are left stranded in the ruins with a group of isolated survivors.
“Build your base, secure resources, and expand your influence to carve out a path to survival!”
Now that the highly anticipated game is now available to download, players have been scouring its data to see if they can find out anything else about the future of the Resident Evil series as a whole.
Some Of Your Favourite Characters Are On The Way
As of now, the video game will allow the player to meet 19 characters which consist of both familiar and unfamiliar faces.
Some are free to unlock whilst others are pay-to-win but with characters such as the iconic Chris Redfield seemingly not available, what does this mean for the future of Resident Evil Survival Unit?
Well, according to REvil, a Portuguese site dedicated to all things Resident Evil, skins of Redfield, Sherry, and Excella have been discovered in the game’s data.
Not only that but Chris Redfield will be sporting his young Resident Evil 1-era look and dataminers have also uncovered an upcoming monster enemy known as Mortem.
All of this information has been found after scouring Android data for the game so does this mean that the skins and new monsters will be added to the mobile game in the future?
Since it went live, Resident Evil: Survival Unit has racked up more than one million downloads with players eager to dive into a new way to experience the beloved survival horror experience.
Now with the news that regular updates may be imminent, now seems like the best time to pick up your mobile and get downloading.
